VH has arisen as a revolutionary force in Vietnam’s academic landscape, delivering essential

support to low-income students since its founding in 2002. By merging economic scholarships with skill-building programs, the organization addresses both urgent economic barriers and enduring growth needs.

### Origins and Mission https://viethope.com.vn/

Established in 2002 by overseas Vietnamese students at Harvard University, VietHope aimed to resolve institutional academic imbalances in Vietnam. The group’s goal—to empower economically challenged students through access to schooling—arises from recognition that monetary hardship remains the primary barrier to educational continuation.
